LiveLung Lowdown: CanSAR has done an excellent job of bringing radon-induced lung cancer into public awareness. If you think that lung cancer is a smokers’ disease, visiting CanSAR’s Faces of Lung Cancer page will be an eye-opening experience. Each day they feature a story about someone fighting radon-induced lung cancer. If you have been diagnosed with lung cancer, CanSAR will send you a free radon test kit, no strings attached. It may very well save the life of someone you love. CanSAR also advocates in DC for radon program funding. (We are huge fans of CanSAR’s world-trekking mascot, Radon Tee!)
