So your pain experience, your functional mobility, sexual health...We also have my area, the mental, psychological, emotional and cognitive quantities of quality of life. And then we also have things like your spiritual life, relationships, your life roles as maybe a partner or a mom or a daughter or any of those in between. Your level of autonomy, your immediate environment that you live in, your level of freedom and health, sorry, wealth and finances. This is not an exhaustive list."

About the Speaker Dr. Kelly Scherger is licensed Psychologist practicing in the state of North Carolina. She has a clinical and research background in oncology, health psychology, and sexual health. She has experience working with caregivers and patients at all stages of the cancer continuum, from diagnosis to survivorship. She is currently in the process of getting certified in Sex Therapy. She is also a member of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, American Pyschosocial Oncology Society, and the Network on Female Sexual Health and Cancer. Dr. Scherger sees both individual patients and couples to help target and navigate sexual health concerns related to cancer diagnosis or treatment, sleep, depression, anxiety, health behavior change, body image issues, and adjustment difficulties. She currently holds a position at the Charlotte VA.
